Seven teens and I loaded up Sunday afternoon to shop for Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes. Thanks to generous donations from our church family we were able to select gifts to bless nine children with boxes. The Gospel message is presented with each box as well! Praise the Lord! That's what CHRISTmas is all about.
Since I had to buy camera batteries while we were at Walmart, the only pictures I got were on the way home. I had every intention of getting pics of the kids packing the boxes after we got back to church, but I got busy packing boxes myself and... This is all I've got - sorry.

The picture taking went well...

until they figured out I had the camera...

(side note: That stuff Brice has is called Flarp. As far as I can tell, it is the most disgusting substance known to man. Why they make such a product, I'll never know, but it is HIGHLY entertaining for teenagers apparently!)

Stephen figured out that I had the camera.

And then I was camera-jacked... and it went WAY downhill!

The guys in the back didn't want to be left out.

They only took about thirty pictures of themselves.

I think this one is my favorite, Chelsea!

Notice that Grace has chosen the high road! I like that girl!
All in all, it was a good trip. I would do it again. (I'm quite possibly that crazy.) We accomplished some good things for the Kingdom. We have prayed for the recipients of each box to be blessed by the gifts and the Giver. Please join us in continuing that prayer as our boxes make their way to their destinations around the world. May Christ be lifted up through this project.
